DANCE TEAM COACH NAMED

The Atlantic City CardSharks have named Linda Suarez of Brigantine, NJ as the Coach of The Diamond Girls, their official dance team. Ms Suarez is looking forward to bringing some showgirl flare to the Diamond Girls.

A former member of the Philadelphia 76ers Dance Team, Ms. Suarez has danced professionally for the past 10 years. Her illustrious career as a showgirl has taken her as far as Biloxi, Mississippi to nearly every casino on Atlantic City’s boardwalk where she has performed as a singer and dancer. She is currently performing as a singer/dancer at Legends in Concert at the Claridge Hotel and Casino.

A recent accomplishment took place this summer when VH1 conducted a nationwide search for 5 girls to compete in the pilot episode of their new reality "Bootcamp" series based on showgirls. Ms. Suarez was flown to Las Vegas where she competed for a week in various challenges. At the end of the competition, Ms. Suarez avoided elimination and was declared the winner. The show is set to air on VH1 next month.

Debuting Spring 2004, The Atlantic City CardSharks is a new professional indoor football franchise that will play 14 regular season games from late March through early July with 7 at home in Atlantic City’s majestic and historic Boardwalk Hall. New Jersey’s only professional football team, The Atlantic City CardSharks will be coached by Mike Siani, formerly a Wide Receiver with the Oakland Raiders and Baltimore Colts and member of the 1977 Super Bowl-winning Raiders.
