Now living in Atlantic City she performs full-time in the show "Legends in Concert" at the Claridge Casino. In addition to her current dancing career, she attends school at Atlantic Cape Community College (ACCC) part time. Carla has sixteen years of dance experience and trained with Stewart-Johnson Dance Academy in Hamilton, New Jersey. She is a three-time Dance Educators of America ballet scholarship recipient, and has achieved several distinguishing accomplishments including 1st runner up NYC Dance Alliance 2002, and 1st runner up American Dance Awards "Dancer of the Year" 2002. |  | Valerie Valerie is 20 years old, and brings 12 years of dancing and cheerleading experience to the team. She is from Sicklerville, New Jersey and currently a full time student at Rowan University majoring in political science. Valerie has trained in ballet, tap and jazz, and currently studies hip hop and ballet at Koresh in Philadelphia. |  | Holly Holly is a full time student at Atlantic Cape Community College. She attended Jersey Cape Dance Center for 11 years, and danced with the Middle Township High School Dance Co. for six years. She also took classes at the Nashville ballet while living there for a year. Holly is a life long resident of Cape May County where she lives with her goldfish Kenny and black lab Raleigh. She enjoys playing outdoors, skiing, traveling and walking her dog on the beach. |  | Jaime Jaime is a lifelong resident of Vineland, New Jersey who has recently moved to Margate. She began dancing at the age of 5 at The Academy of Dance and Fitness. Her dance history includes membership in the Dansteps Company and the Rutgers Performing Dance Company. After graduating with honors from Vineland High School, she went on to receive her bachelor's degree in Business Economics from Rutgers University. Currently she is the Assistant Controller of Boardwalk Bank and attending Stockton College to obtain her MBA. | | | |  | Jeanine Jeanine is 31 years old and has been dancing for many years. Her extensive background includes being an instructor for Junior Eagles Cheerleaders, and performing as a member of the 99.3 "The Buzz", Philadelphia Kixx, Camden Power and Atlantic City Sea Gals dance teams. In addition to her dancing career, she currently works full time as a Quality Assurance Administrator in customer service for a medical society in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Rutgers University in Camden with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, and now lives with her husband Scott in Clayton, New Jersey. |  | Heather From Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Heather has a 14-year dance background. Heather studied dance at Jardel Dance School in Philadelphia for 13 years, and also has three years of experience as a cheerleader. Her training includes Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Hip Hop. Heather is 27 and graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, and a Minor in Management Information and Decision Support Systems. She currently works for The Siegfried Group, LLP in Wilmington, Delaware, and is taking Hip Hop and Ballet at Koresh Dance School. |  | Jennifer Jennifer is a fourth generation dancer and has been dancing since she was three. She has taught dance for 10 years throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Her choreography has won numerous awards for her students at dance competitions. She has also choreographed music videos and short films, some of which she has performed in. Jennifer was a dance major at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas before transferring to Temple University where she graduated cum laude and received her BA studying film and television. She has also won awards for her video editing and was a judge for the Atlantic City Film Festival. Jennifer currently teaches Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Hip Hop and Musical Theater at the Absecon Academy of Performing Arts and the Carla Ashley Studio of Dance. She resides in Galloway with her Saint Bernard, Sir Lancelot. |  | Ganeen Ganeen has danced for Camden Power, 99.3 "The Buzz" Dance Team, Atlantic City Sea Gals Dance Team, Absegami High School Varsity Cheerleaders and Absegami Modern Dance Club. Her background also includes being an instructor for the Philadelphia Jr. Eagles Cheerleaders and choreographer for the AC Sea Gals, Winslow Township High School Varsity Cheerleading Squad, Egg Harbor City Crusaders Cheerleading Squad, 99.3 "The Buzz", and the Oakcrest High School Show Choir. She is currently studying ballet and hip hop at Koresh in Philadelphia. Ganeen graduated from Rowan University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, and holds a Paralegal Certificate from Philadelphia Institute in Litigation Support Management. Ganeen is Assistant Manager of the Litigation Support Department at Dechert LLP in Center City, Philadelphia. She lives with her husband Michael in Sicklerville, New Jersey. |  | Brecken Brecken is a 24-year-old full time dance instructor and choreographer from Buena, New Jersey. She has been teaching for 10 years now, and has plans of opening a dance studio in the near future. She holds a BA in Performing Arts Dance Operation from Richard Stockton College. Brecken has been or is now in associations with Hawk and Lil Hill as a main dancer, The Amy Marshal Dance Company, Kinetic Architecture Dance company, PhilaDanco, Trenton Shooting stars dance team, Atlantic City Seagulls, Stockton Dance Company, and many more. Her studies in dance include ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, improvisation, modern, acrobatics and Hawaiian.
|  | Mary Mary is an 18-year-old senior in high school and is planning to attend LaSalle University in the fall. She has lived in Northfield, New Jersey her entire life. She has been dancing since she could walk and has taken professional classes since the age of eight. She currently takes tap, jazz and ballet classes at Marilu's Dance Studio in Brigantine, New Jersey. She is very excited to be a part of the Diamond Dancers and looks forward to bringing a lot to the team. |  | Nicole Nicole was born and raised in Egg Harbor City, NJ and has been dancing since the age of four. Among the styles of dance she has studied are ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, modern & acro. She graduated from The Southern New Jersey Academy of Performing Arts in Sewell, NJ, where she majored in dance. She then proceeded to attend Morgan State University where she majored in Psychology, and performed with the "FoXXy Dancers" of the Morgan State University marching band. She now attends Stockton State College in Absecon, NJ, also teaching at and performing with Paul Morris DancExplosion in Hammonton, NJ. |  | Erica Originally from Port Republic, New Jersey, Erica has been dancing since the age of 3 and cheerleading since grade school. She has danced and cheered at both collegiate and professional levels, including performing as a Sizzling Slot Dancer at Resorts Casino and membership in the Atlantic City Sea Gals dance team. Erica currently teaches third and fourth grade physical education in Egg Harbor Township, and also works as a part time aerobics instructor at various Health Clubs in the area. Erica went to college at Edinboro University and majored in Health, Physical Education and Dance. She enjoys working out as one of her favorite activities, and during her leisure time she enjoys traveling, shopping, and playing with her dog, Daphne Rose. |  | Stacy Stacy is originally from Hammonton, New Jersey and is currently a senior psychology major at the University of Delaware. After graduating, she plans to move back to New Jersey to work towards her masters in social work. Stacy hopes to one day work with abused children and help counsel families. She presently works in a psychology lab conducting research to gain insight into the dynamics that affect relationships between teens and their caregivers. Her dance background includes six years of gymnastics, six years of cheerleading and three years of color guard. Stacy has danced for the Camden County Community College Concert Team, cheered for Daytona Beach Community College, taught social dance classes at Gloucester Community College, and choreographed for “Line” at the Walnut Theatre in Philadelphia. | Diamond Girls Director of Dance | Linda Suarez The Atlantic City CardSharks have named Linda Suarez of Brigantine, NJ as the Coach of The Diamond Girls, their official dance team. Ms Suarez is looking forward to bringing some showgirl flare to the Diamond Girls. A former member of the Philadelphia 76ers Dance Team, Ms. Suarez has danced professionally for the past 10 years. Her illustrious career as a showgirl has taken her as far as Biloxi, Mississippi to nearly every casino on Atlantic City’s boardwalk where she has performed as a singer and dancer. She is currently performing as a singer/dancer at Legends in Concert at the Claridge Hotel and Casino. A recent accomplishment took place this summer when VH1 conducted a nationwide search for 5 girls to compete in the pilot episode of their new reality "Bootcamp" series based on showgirls. Ms. Suarez was flown to Las Vegas where she competed for a week in various challenges. At the end of the competition, Ms. Suarez avoided elimination and was declared the winner. The show aired on VH1 in early February. |
